Abogado de la Universidad Gabriela Mistral (1994, Chile) y magíster (LL.M) en Gestión y Planificación Tributaria mención en Tributación Internacional por la Facultad de Derecho de la UDLA (2009).
Socio Fundador del estudio (1990), Roberto Zúñiga ha dedicado y centrado el ejercicio de la profesión al Derecho Corporativo, Regulatorio, Inmobiliario, Tributario, y Contratos. Junto a Rodrigo Izquierdo son especialistas en diseñar estrategias de defensa y representación de clientes con carácter interdisciplinario (Derecho Civil, Derecho Comercial, Derecho Inmobiliario, Derecho Tributario, Derecho Laboral, Derecho Regulatorio, etc.) así como en la prevención y resolución de conflictos. Es, además, juez árbitro designado por la Corte de Apelaciones de Santiago.
En paralelo a su trabajo legal, Roberto Zúñiga es director de empresas inmobiliarias, constructoras, hoteleras, retail e inversión dentro y fuera de Chile, así como de empresas proveedoras de insumos médicos, ejerciendo también bajo el concepto de family office.
Fue destacado por Best Lawyers (Nueva York, U.S.A.) como uno de los mejores abogados de Chile en el año 2022. Es, asimismo, miembro de la Federación Inter Americana de Abogados (2021).
En materia académica, Roberto Zúñiga ejerció la docencia como profesor ayudante de don Víctor Vial del Río en la Cátedra de Derecho Civil en la Universidad Gabriela Mistral (1992-1996), y de don Enrique Alcalde Rodríguez (1997) en la misma casa de estudios.
A graduate of Gabriela Mistral University (1994, Chile) with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Tax Management and Planning, specializing in International Taxation, from the Faculty of Law at UDLA (2009), Roberto Zúñiga, a founding partner of the firm (1990), has dedicated his practice to Corporate, Regulatory, Real Estate, Tax, and Contract Law.
Together with Rodrigo Izquierdo, he specializes in designing interdisciplinary defense and representation strategies for clients (Civil Law, Commercial Law, Real Estate Law, Tax Law, Labor Law, Regulatory Law, etc.), as well as in conflict prevention and resolution. He is also an arbitrator appointed by the Santiago Court of Appeals.
In addition to his legal work, Roberto Zúñiga serves as a director of real estate, construction, hotel, retail, and investment companies both in Chile and abroad, as well as companies that supply medical equipment, also operating as a family office. He was recognized by Best Lawyers (New York, USA) as one of the best lawyers in Chile in 2022. He is also a member of the Inter-American Bar Association (2021).
In academia, Roberto Zúñiga served as a teaching assistant to Professor Víctor Vial del Río in the Civil Law Department at Gabriela Mistral University (1992-1996), and to Professor Enrique Alcalde Rodríguez (1997) at the same institution.
